Sorry I’ve been a little quiet. I took most of January off to refresh and reinvigorate. We took a little trip to Florida (which I plan on sharing in my musings section on my new website) where I got a chance to be inspired, feel the warmth on my skin, enjoy beautiful sunsets, spend lazy days by the pool and beach with my children and reflect on the year ahead and my goals for 2015.
I was also nominated for TWO Burlington Post Readers Choice awards last month. You guys are awesome! Voting has ended and I know a lot of you took the time to support me. I sincerely cannot thank you guys enough for your continued love and support. Now that I’m almost caught up with work, I can start sharing more of what I’ve been up to with you. As much as I love sharing these posts with you, this blog is for my clients first and foremost and I know I’ve slacked. No excuses. 2015 is a new year.

Since I focused on Jameson for my January 10 on 10, you guys knew what was coming for February. Lovingly entitled Jackson, this month is dedicated to him. He was not happy about posing for the camera. I was taking him away from his TV and toys. Actually, what he really wanted was some Kernels popcorn. Boys. So, I told him — the faster we do this, the faster that popcorn is in your hands. I promised him I’d take 10 photos. I took 30. He’ll survive.
He got a new superhero bow tie from our friend, the talented Julie Martin of Black Cat Meow Designs (go follow her work), so this month is about my son who will always be my baby but is growing up way too fast.
I will leave you with his beautiful lashes. It’s truly not fair how beautiful they are. Since I work from home, I don’t need to wear makeup every day but I heard about how lavender essential oil can be used in your mascara to make your lashes grow longer. In just a month, I am amazed at the results I’m seeing, so I’m giving it a try on my own lashes. Don’t be surprised if you see me out and about with just mascara on haha!
