Every year, I do photos for of my niece and nephew around this time of year for their birthdays and I love it. It’s nice to watch the kids grow in person but also in front of the lens. You see, I don’t often realise how big my own kids are getting until I look back. So, today as I wrapped up edits on this session for my dear sister in law, I looked back. Gavin is only 3 months older than my boys. They’re into the same things and they love hanging out when they get the opportunity (living in two different cities almost 2 hours away sucks sometimes). And as much as I don’t want them to grow up, I really can’t wait until they’re a little older. I’m excited to see their friendships blossom. But enough about that ;)

What a year will do to a growing 5 year old “ham” who gave me a million funny faces while I took his photos! Gavin… not sure if your mama has told you about a little something called payback but I’m positive some of the photos I’ve taken of you over the years will surface, perhaps on your wedding day.
