As first time parents, naturally my husband and I were so proud of our baby girl and we knew we had to take the opportunity to record memories of her as a newborn, so when we saw some of Robyn’s work, we were excited to have her take our photos.  As a new mom, I believe it is important for a photographer to be patient, flexible, and most of all, naturally warm with babies.  Robyn was all of these things and proved to us, without a doubt, that she has a genuine passion for her work with babies. I knew the experience would be great. What I didn’t expect was to be as moved as I was by her photos of my beautiful family.  I can’t imagine our future memories not being captured by Robyn. Not only would I recommend her to anybody that I care about, I know she will know my family for years to come. Thank you Robyn!

It is important to my husband and I to capture the different stages of our family as we grow.   My family has had the pleasure of working with Robyn three times now, and each time my children have presented challenges to the shoot; teething, tantrums, ear aches, and even a new born that fought sleep. Robyn persevered through all of it! She was patient and flexible, and she was able to calm both my kids, which is no small feat. Our family photos may not be classically perfect, with everyone smiling and looking at the camera– but they are certainly picture perfect in the sense that they captured who we are as a family and the stage we are at in life.   The portraits of my kids are stunning, when I viewed the proofs I was completely in awe and amazed that Robyn was able to capture those moments in all that chaos!
