Apple Picking | October 10 on 10 | Personal

Last weekend, we were kid-less for the first time in a long while. Like completely kid-less. Do you guys know what that feels like? Well, I can tell you it feels great as it gave us a chance to sleep in, go out at night, and reconnect with our friends and with each other. We saw BANKS on Friday night and went to a party on Saturday night, so we made good use of our time. But, all good things must come to an end and the boys were back home on Sunday! I really appreciate my parents making the trip and dropping them off for us.

As soon as we got home from having breakfast with our neighbours Emma and Dave, the boys were at our house waiting for us. We went straight to Applevale Orchards in Milton so we could pick some apples and shoot my 10 on 10. I just love this time of year. Everything is so pretty. This is when I fully accept that summer is over and that it’s time to move on.

Anyway, here’s a few of my favourite photos from Applevale Orchards, starting off with yours truly (a big thank you to Dave for taking it for me)!

It was so nice to spend the day with our friends. You guys probably recognize Julie and Gary with their twin boys (who are good friends with our twins). But new to the blog is Emma and Dave who are our sweet neighbours. They don’t have kids yet so this was a good opportunity for them to hang out with a bunch of kids. And I must say, they were great with our kids. Dave even took a foot to the face like a true Dad would and didn’t get too mad haha!

Ha! The shot of Emma and Dave holding their “baby” just kills me. And yes, the photo below was 100% intentional. Those two fingers are Wesley’s way of being present in the photo below ;) All in all, it was a great outing. I’m so happy that I can share what makes me the happiest with you all. Oh! I have a few outtakes too (I shared more than 10 but such is life). Should I share my outtakes?

Hope you all enjoyed this month’s 10 on 10. Please keep the circle going by visiting my friend Nikki’s blog here (who also went to an apple orchard in Barrie, Ontario). Tis the season right!? I wonder what next month will bring… but until then, lots of love – Robyn xo
